Classic Mercedes Benz At Subang Jaya

While sending my car for washing yesterday, I saw these magnificent machines being serviced at the Shell service kiosk near USJ4 and managed to have a chat with the owner. He is a Singaporean working in Malaysia and he has four classic cars under his custody. Currently he owns a 1976 Mercedes Benz 280S and a 1974 Mercedes Benz 230.6. One would drooled to see these cars; as if like it has just got out from showroom particularly the 230.6, very well done and very good bargain. Well, here are the pictures of the cars. Prepared to drool….

1976 W116 280S. All original and it has its original owner’s manual including the service booklet. He is now a proud second owner after 30 plus years living with the previous owner. The most important thing is that, everything is original from A-Z the interior is Orange MB Tex.

Well, here we go now, the 1974 W114 230.6, I must say this car is the most beautiful W114 I ever seen on the road. The car is almost flawless except for the high idling due to faulty carburetor. Well, here are the pictures. Enjoy and drool my friend.

Believe me, these car will rule the road for another 20-30 years time.

I have been busy lately with my office work and this is the only time I have to jot some thoughts that came across my mind. I am glad that MyBenz Charity ended with a very good responds from both members and non members. I wish to share with some thoughts from a friend of mine, Sharifah Wani Jamalullail in her posting in http://www.mybenz.org and her comments really touched my heart and it made me feel appreciated, thanks Kak Wani!

Stolen 2008 Toyota Camry

My uncle’s car got stolen yesterday while on his way back home from the office and the way his car got stolen was tragic and traumatic one. He got hit by a car and he pulled over the side of the road to check whether everything was ok or else. Suddenly, the occupants of the car that hit his car bashed him up before took the car away, luckily my Uncle was only suffering with minor bruises but he got to undergone such a traumatic moment, lost his car and got bashed by these merciless beast or should I say, a beast in a human’s clothing.

So to all my friends especially those living within the vicinity of Saujana Impian, Kajang, if u see this 2008 Toyota Camry, silver colour fitted with bodykit, registration number WRV7779, please inform the police ASAP or inform my Uncle, Tuan Haji Abdul Aziz Abd Rahman at 017-3287577. Your cooperation is highly appreciated. I am sad and angry over these bunch of people who are so desperate to do whatever they wish as even by hurting other people merely to get hold of their belongings.

MyBenz Charity 2008; Kudos To MyBenzers

1 November 2008 shall be the day that will be remembered by me. It is not somebody’s birthday or I mourned upon someone’s death but it was the day where MyBenz first time organized its Charity Event. This event was held at a prestigious Impiana Hotel KLCC and it was attended by more than 100 guests and 43 orphan from an orphanage in Kajang. Looking at them, I felt sorry for them for not being given the chance to feel or know the meaning of love by someone they call; parents. Well, it is pointless for me to brag about this event, pictures tells a thousand words.

Volunteers At Work

That was me and other youngsters of MyBenz, Sophyan Hakim@ Pyan_W115, why he used such nick name? Because he likes classic Mercedes Benz and he does owns a 1975 Mercedes Benz 200 and it is his daily driven car. And the one on my right hand side was Faiz @ Adik at MyBenz. I dont know why he choosed that name but then whatever it is, it’s fun to be part of MyBenzers, oopsss it is too early for me to tell how fun it was the event. We had good time and we managed to work hand in hand as a team that night until we settled packing all goodie bags to be distributed to the orphan and our guests. This pictured show how busy we were packing the “duit raya” to be given to the orphan.

Here are the faces of Lady Benzitos of MyBenz. We have Erin, Farah @ PiPiLoYot and Shwani @ Kak Wani in this pictures and they were busy stuffing the goodie bags with all goodies given by our sponsors. Thanks to Carrefour and other corporate companies whom contributed in order to make this event a huge success. This picture really shows the spirit of MyBenz although this club was only formed 3 years ago and it is growing from day to day, MyBenz was born in 2005 and as time goes by, it evolves and today MyBenz is standing tall in the eyes of the world to tell the people that they have gone through another stage of maturity; organizing charity event for this year round. Kudos to Farah, Aweksha, Erin, Shwani, Kak Zeta and others for making this event a huge success.

I like this picture because my fiance and my sister were inside the picture. They have done an exceptional job for this event. They were busy preparing name tags in this picture as time was running out that night as we were only have a few more hours left to the actual event to start. The room was cosy and comfortable in the first place but later, the room became stuffy and warm as the technician swithced off the air conditioner at 11.30 am and we were soaked with our sweat for the next 2 hours; goodie bags must be completed by that night by hook or by crook; I could still remember Kak Zeta & Kak Wani’s facial expression where we were slow in packing the goodie bags…hehehehe Kak Zeta and Kak Wani, both of you rocks!

Sham, the main committee for this event and also the designer for banner and t-shirt and he was proud that night to feature his creatively designed MyBenz Charity t-shirt and the shirt is comfortable to wear as materials used were derived from a good quality one. Bravo Sham for your effort and the passions u put in making the MyBenz Charity a reliality.
